Joe Pizza
President
Joe has been a professional musician since signing with United Artists at the age of fourteen. He has written the music and lyrics for over 200+ songs and has recorded under the stage name “Slyce”. His self-titled debut album Slyce, which was released in 1990, generated five songs which garnered airplay on over 400 radio stations nationwide. Each one landed on the prestigious Gavin Report Adult Contemporary Top 40 chart.
His Performance
With the support of the Georgia Mass Choir, he performed his original song dedicated to our freedom entitled “Lady Liberty” for the millennium celebration of the Ellis Island Awards in front of luminaries such as the then First Lady and former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Beginning of Sceneworks Studios
In 2015, Joe founded Sceneworks Studios, a production company that has invested in over 15 Broadway productions, which includes Dear Evan Hansen, To Kill a Mockingbird, Beetlejuice, and Sondheim’s Company, among others. His musical, All For Joe, for which he wrote the book, music and lyrics, has been showcased at the Duke Theater on 42nd Street, NY, the Bergen PAC in Englewood, NJ, and performed in concert at 583 Park Ave in NY.
Actors Fund’s Supporter
Joe is a proud supporter of the Actors Fund and is also actively involved on numerous boards, including the Drama League of New York, the Ellis Island Society, Columbia University’s School of the Arts Dean’s Council, and Manhattan School of Music’s Gala Chair. He was unanimously accepted to the Board of Trustees of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) in Cambridge, Mass.
Joe is married to his wife Lauren and is a devoted father to his four children: Joseph Jr., Jeffrey, Ariela, and Daniel.
Ariela Pizza
CEO
Ariela Pizza is a dynamic force in the world of musical theater, balancing her dual passions for performing and producing with remarkable success. Born and raised in New Jersey, Ariela graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in 2021 with a degree in Musical Theater, which laid the foundation for her flourishing career. She is the resident executive producer at Sceneworks Studios, where she plays a pivotal role in guiding the company toward monumental success. Under her leadership, Sceneworks has become a nurturing ground for local talent, offering actors invaluable opportunities to build and advance their careers.
Ariela's impressive résumé includes assisting in the production of over 16 Broadway shows, such as "Dear Evan Hansen" and "Beetlejuice," demonstrating her deep commitment to the craft. In addition to her behind-the-scenes work, Ariela has taken center stage in numerous productions. Notably, she starred in Sceneworks Studios' inaugural mainstage production of "Anastasia" and has graced the stage at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in South Florida.
Ariela is known for her dedication to the Sceneworks family, where she is often regarded as the glue that holds the team together. Her vision is to elevate Sceneworks to national prominence, ensuring it becomes a household name in the theater industry. With her talent, drive, and unwavering commitment to the arts, Ariela Pizza is a rising star both on and off the stage.
Andrew Hindley
Executive Vice President, COO
Andrew Hindley brings a unique blend of artistic passion and strategic expertise. Starting his theater journey at the Grand Bahama Regency Theater at just 8 years old, Andrew cultivated a deep love for the stage through numerous musicals. Although he initially pursued a degree in Navigation and Maritime Science and built a successful career in the maritime industry, his commitment to the arts never waned. Andrew later earned an MBA in International Business, further honing his skills in problem-solving, logistics, and team leadership. His diverse background and strategic acumen make him an invaluable asset to our team, driving both creative and operational excellence.
Michelle Introna
Vice President, Marketing & Advertising
Michelle, the Vice President of Sceneworks, plays a pivotal role in the company's success, overseeing all advertising and marketing efforts. Her expertise in emerging media allows her to navigate the rapidly changing landscape of digital marketing with ease. She is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns that not only promote Sceneworks' productions but also engage and expand their audience. Michelle's ability to merge traditional advertising techniques with cutting-edge digital strategies has been instrumental in growing Sceneworks' reputation and audience base. She works closely with the production team to create cohesive campaigns that align with the creative vision of each show while also meeting the company's broader goals.
Vincent Introna
Artist Relations/Booking Agent
Vincent Introna is the Artist Relations/Booking Agent at Sceneworks Studios, where he connects talented musicians with performance opportunities. A proud New Jersey native, his passion for music and his deep roots in the local scene make him an invaluable asset to Sceneworks. With a keen ear for talent and an extensive network, he helps artists at the studio gain exposure and book gigs across various venues. Vinny's dedication to fostering relationships between musicians and industry professionals plays a key role in advancing the careers of Sceneworks' artists, ensuring they get the spotlight they deserve.
Christine Hicks
Controller
Christine has been with Sceneworks Studios since its inception in 2015 and has facilitated investments in over 15+ Broadway shows including “Dear Evan Hansen” and “To Kill a Mockingbird.” She oversees and manages all financial aspects of Sceneworks Studios.
Prior to working behind the scenes, Christine was an actress on Broadway and US National Tours, most notably starring in Miss Saigon, which garnered her a National Broadway Theatre Best Leading Actress nomination and Les Misérables. Her expertise in both sides of the industry allows her to effectively communicate with operations and collaborate with the creative team.
Her proudest achievement has been raising three incredible sons with her husband of over 20+ years.
Mike "Metal" Goldberg
Producer & Engineer
Mike sharpened his sonic vision by working on both sides of the booth. During his 30-plus years in the studios, he first worked as a musician and then as an engineer and producer. Through 3 decades on the drums, playing the guitar and working his way up the recording ranks, first at the renowned House of Music in West Orange, NJ, and then at the tri-state’s finest studios, Mike honed his skills working alongside some of the most talented producers, engineers and musicians in the industry. He applies the same skills and passion to his work on voice-overs, sound design, broadcast TV and radio ads, TV shows, indie films and more.
Dave Biglin
Resident Studio Musician, Composer, and Arranger
Dave Biglin is a highly versatile and accomplished musician, serving as the Resident Studio Musician, Composer, and Arranger at Sceneworks Studios. With a career spanning several decades, Dave has made a significant impact on the music industry, especially within the pop/rock genre. His expertise extends across various roles, including guitarist, keyboardist, singer, and producer. Dave has been a part of numerous projects and collaborations, including his work with the New York/New Jersey power-pop group The Weeklings. He is also known for his association with iconic acts like Max Weinberg’s Jukebox, where he has brought his dynamic musicality to live audiences. Dave's deep understanding of music and his ability to seamlessly blend different styles make him an invaluable asset at Sceneworks Studios, where he continues to shape the sound of contemporary music through his compositions and arrangements.
